Job Description
Position Summary
The Due Diligence Analyst (Transaction Coordinator) will play an essential role in performing due diligence and disposition tasks related to various real estate transactions, including building and land acquisitions, dispositions, financings and corporate acquisitions.
Essential Duties
Acquisitions/Loan Due Diligence
- Manage inventory and file-sharing of each deal’s transaction documents
- Set up and maintain deal data and critical dates within Ares’ online transaction management platform
- Manage all third-party consultant engagements and applicable site visits. Make recommendations to Due Diligence leads on the firms to be hired. Ensure consultant deliverables are distributed on time and include required scopes of work
- Assist in the internal due diligence phase, including taking primary responsibility for: tracking seller deliverables, , summarizing service contracts and warranties, and estoppel and SNDA preparation and/or review
- Manage the acquisition closing process: (i) gather necessary closing support documentation and signatures/notaries; (ii) review all documentation for accuracy; (iii) manage funding requests, and (v) ensure all final, executed documents are saved in the proper location; (vi)work with Due Diligence lead/title company/seller/outside counsel to finalize all details to enable timely, flawless closings
Dispositions
- Gather Ares’ operational and property information for all targeted dispositions
- Set up and maintain deal data and critical dates within Ares’ online transaction management platform
- Manage all online “war room” files, tracking for accuracy and completeness, and gatekeeping access to prospective brokers and buyers
- Receive, track, and process Confidentiality Agreements from potential purchasers
- Manage the disposition closing process: (i) gather necessary closing support documentation and signatures/notaries; (ii) review all documentation for accuracy; (iii) prepare and review closing statements; (iv) manage funding requests, and (v) work with Due Diligence lead/title company/seller/outside counsel to finalize all details to ensure timely, flawless closings
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience and/or training in real estate or similar transactional environment
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, Cloud-based Apps and Internet search skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with both internal and external colleagues
- Demonstrated abilities to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
