Job Description
Ares is currently seeking candidates for a Vice President role within our Global Capital Solutions Group. The Global Capital Solutions Group works across various Ares’s business lines managing the Firm’s global banking and non-traditional lending relationships, capital needs, leading, or partnering on various financing transactions, and overseeing the Firm’s hedging programs. The candidate will gain broad exposure across various asset classes and functions within the organization. The role will also require frequent interactions with our banking relationships and external counsels. It’s an opportunity for the candidate to expand their relationships and network across financial markets.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
The Vice President will provide overall support by leading the underwriting process for various debt, equity, and hybrid transactions, and lead fund finance negotiations across various lending products. The role will require interaction with various investment teams and require a comprehensive knowledge of various asset classes and capital markets products.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead the underwriting process for debt, equity, and hybrid transactions
• Lead fund finance negotiations across various lending products
• Preparing pitchbooks and financial analysis
• Preparing memos and documenting capital markets transactions
• Conducting research to analyze market trends
• Additional duties include providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Licenses: Series 7, 79 and 63 preferable
Experience Required
• High intellect with solid quantitative, financial, and analytical skills
• 5 years of relevant industry experience

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$180,000 - $200,000
