Our Office in Falls Church, VA. Has an immediate opening for a Facilities Aide reporting to the Facilities Director. This is a non-exempt full-time position.

Primary responsibilities:

• Responsible for the routine building maintenance including but not limited to minor drywall patchingand paint, touch up of walls, hanging of pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, spot cleaning ofcarpets, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles, installing light bulbs, changing ballasts, basic plumbing(cleaning drains, replacing faucets/toilets).
• Maintaining stock rooms, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing trash,general upkeep of the office spaces.
• Responsible for maintaining the office space to include: spot cleaning carpets, painting marredwalls.
• Assembling furniture and distributing the furniture to offices for setup.
• Provide maintenance and repair services.
• Assist in Government property inventory processes
• Assist in the upkeep, monitoring, and implementation of the corporation's safety requirements
• Receives general supervision from the Facilities Director
• Additional Duties as assigned

Experiences and Background We Look For:

• High School Diploma; 2 years of experience; or equivalent
• U.S Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance or currently have an active Top-Secret Clearance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• The employee must frequently grasp, lift and /or move items over 25 pounds.

The salary range for this role is $41,000 to $62,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Other Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.

Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Arete will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.

Successful passage of a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test is required to meet position eligibility.
