Arete is seeking a part-time IT Aide to work as a member of our Sr. IT Business Systems Specialist team in our Falls Church, VA facility. The candidate will be working on a variety of data and system integration and maintenance projects. In doing so, the candidate will gain hands-on experience working in the field of Business Systems Analysis while helping the company expand its current reporting and business intelligence capabilities. The candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Business Systems analysts and collaborate with other key stakeholders and end users. This is an non-exempt, non-supervisory, temporary position.

Primary responsibilities:

• Performing data entry flows ensuring data compliance between multiple business systems; creating and updating documentation for a variety of business system processes;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define how data fields from the source system will correspond to fields in the target system;
• Adhering to organizational processes to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality; Other data validation, organization, and input tasks in support of multiple IT projects;
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to document/diagram information systems and procedures;
• Actively pursing a High School or Post-secondary education and/or a career in an IT or Business Systems-related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel;
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Salary rate for this role is $75,000/yr.

U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.

Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
