We are seeking an early to mid-career Data Scientist with a strong Physics / Math / Computer Science / Data Science background to work in the areas of machine learning, signal / image processing and detection, computer vision, physics-based modeling, and data analysis. This position is based in our Falls Church, VA office. This is a full-time, exempt position with no supervisory duties and the possibility of partial remote work, depending on task requirements.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop physics-based software and algorithms for advanced data analysis.
- Transform complex multi-dimensional datasets into actionable insights.
- Implement machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to analyze novel datasets.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $122,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to : the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills.

U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.
Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
