We are seeking a dynamic engineer with a passion for bringing new product designs to life in a customer useable assembly with a focus on early design considerations for smooth transition to build. We are looking for a New Product Introduction Manager, Systems Test to act as a critical bridge between design engineering and production. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting- edge team at a new facility based at our Healdsburg, CA office. This is an exempt, full-time, non-supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the engineering team during the early design phase to ensure downstream production quality requirements are met.
- Interpret program direction and tailor DFx (Design for Excellence) efforts to program-specific needs with a focus on Quality.
- Support the identification and mitigation of potential production risks early in the development phase
- Work with cross discipline teams to help implementation of configuration control processes, ensuring agility and discipline across Engineering Prototype, NPI, and production phases.
- Oversee and support qualification testing for new products from the engineering standpoint.
- Develop and implement operational processes that balance agility with production discipline.
- Support transition to Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) programs with higher quantity levels, supporting internal and external customers.
- Optimize the new facility to support design, development, and LRIP production, including layout of build lines and test areas.
- Work with QMS to help establish and verify protocols for FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge).
- Define incoming inspection processes using the Areté standards.
- Manage Material Review Board (MRB).
- Track issues in Tip QA.
- Drive to root cause of failures supporting corrective actions and implementation
- Provide input for proposals for quality requirements.
- Manage any first article inspections working with Quality Engineering.
- Support development of documentation as relates to test points for early identification of failures.

- Develop, integrate and build on new projects and project tasks to provide design engineering solutions including: documentation, design for manufacturability, verification, validation, unit testing of electro-optical systems.
- Perform technical review like production readiness review, design analysis for build, development and selection of hardware and build tooling.
- Implement NPI methodologies to streamline processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and production to deliver robust solutions.
- Perform validation and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to security protocols in classified and unclassified environments.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in design development for electro-optical systems and gimbals.
- Proficiency in operations tools and practices (Costpoint).
- Configuration management practices
- Create process for build books and quality signoff.
- Tie into existing Areté processes or help modify existing processes
- Government property tracking
