As a Senior Receiving Inspection Specialist at Arete, you are responsible for completing quality inspections on materials and assemblies coming from internal & external sources across multiple programs. In conjunction with documenting non-conformances within the non-conformance database and actively participating in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings. Duties also include gathering, analyzing, and summarizing quality metrics to be used by the organization to track non-conformances, corrective actions, and overall performance of supply base. As well as ensure compliance to the Quality Management System (QMS) during inspections & audits. The position is based in our Niwot, CO office. This is a non-exempt non-supervisory full-time position reporting to the Assurance Manager.

- Print Reading (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, preferred)
- Minimum of two to four years quality control, or quality assurance related, experience required
- Familiar with the use of Statistical Process Control
- Effective ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
- Associates degree or equivalent.
- Experience / training with IPC and J-STD soldering standards required
- Ability to understand and translate complex mechanical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Ability to review & audit material & assembly documentation for accuracy.
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Must be able to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Strong knowledge of inspection equipment and qualification test and measurement techniques on raw materials and assemblies
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Experience with creation of AS9102 FAIR documents
- Experience working in an ISO9000 or AS9100 production facility
- Experience with inspection of optical or laser parts
- Experience with Cost Point and or TIPQA MRP software systems
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and concepts preferred
- Experience working in an ISO9000 or AS9100 production facility preferred
