We’re looking for a Stock, ESOP, and 401K Administrator to join our team and help us keep our ESOP growing and flourishing. As an Stock, ESOP, and 401K Administrator at Arete, you are responsible for all activities associated with the administration of the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), the 401(k) Plan, and any other applicable retirement benefits.

What You’ll Do…
Stock, ESOP and 401K
- Promote the ESOP throughout the company by educating our employees on its benefits
- Liaises with the third-party administrator (TPA) for the retirement benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with the rules of the plans and that all plan timelines are met
- Works with the TPA on coordination of administrative duties including census preparation and verification, verification of Statement of Accounts allocation, verification of participant statements, distributions, and diversifications.
- Ensures completion of all required plan testing, 5500 questionnaire completion and coordinates the 5500 audit and any action items that result from audit
- Assisting in preparing and delivering retirement plan education materials, making use of a variety of delivery systems.
- Attends appropriate industry conferences and promotes the ESOP both internally and externally
- Assist in managing the Insurance plans for the company
- Works with Accounting & Finance teams in the administration Stock options or any future synthetic equity plans
- Identifies and trains individual to serve as back-up for retirement benefit programs.
