You:

A seasoned Zero Trust Security Architect with deep expertise in AWS ecosystems and traditional on-premises environments. You possess a thorough understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles and are adept at implementing robust security measures to fortify cloud and network infrastructures against emerging threats.

The Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a similar field; master's degree preferred. Your advanced education provides a strong foundation in theoretical and practical aspects of cybersecurity and IT management.

• AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, or equivalent security certifications. Certifications validate your expertise in AWS security practices and demonstrate your commitment to continuous professional development.

• A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in cloud security architecture, with a definitive focus on Zero Trust models. Your extensive experience ensures proficient application of Zero Trust principles to protect sensitive data across diverse IT environments.

• Mastery over AWS security practices, orchestration, and service integration. Expertise in AWS allows you to implement and manage secure cloud infrastructures effectively.

• Solid background in implementing and managing SSL/TLS, including hands-on experience with public key infrastructure (PKI). Your skills in SSL/TLS management guarantee secure data transmission and confidentiality.

• Proven track record of designing and executing network security strategies, both in cloud-based and on-premises environments. Your past successes demonstrate your ability to develop robust security frameworks adapted to various IT environments.

• Proficient in scripting and automation with languages such as Python or PowerShell. Automation skills enable efficient implementation of security measures and streamline operational processes.

• Exceptional analytical abilities, complemented by a strategic mindset toward cybersecurity challenges. Your analytical skills enable proactive threat identification and effective risk management.

The Expectations

• Assess current AWS and on-premises security postures.
• Begin implementing Zero Trust security protocols across initial client projects.
• Familiarize yourself with team members and ongoing projects.

60 Days

• Complete implementation of Zero Trust principles across critical client environments.
• Conduct initial security audits and identify areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into existing workflows.

90 Days

• Lead comprehensive audits to ensure full compliance with Zero Trust frameworks.
• Optimize and streamline security procedures based on audit findings.
• Mentor team members on advanced Zero Trust strategies and AWS security best practices.
