A company is looking for a Mid-Level Emergency Management Planner.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate the development of emergency management plans using the FEMA Six-Step Planning ProcessCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment in emergency preparedness strategiesConduct thorough risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate potential impacts of disastersRequired QualificationsEmergency management experience, including knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS)Recognized training, experience, and / or education in business, civilian government, or military emergency management operations or planningMinimum of four (4) years of emergency management planning experienceA documented work history demonstrating success at increasing levels of responsibility in disaster response and recovery planningA sound understanding of emergency management response programs and FEMA's role in coordinating federal responses
