We are currently seeking an Air Mobility Division Officer (AMD) to join our team. The AMD will play a vital role in overseeing air mobility operations and ensuring effective execution of air mobility missions within the framework of federal guidelines and regulations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of air mobility logistics and operations, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve mission objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for advocating for and supporting the goals of our air mobility initiatives while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met. - Oversee and coordinate air mobility operations and activities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for air mobility initiatives
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with government agencies and service providers to optimize air mobility capabilities
- Assess and improve air mobility processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide technical guidance and support to air mobility personnel and stakeholders
- Prepare reports and presentations on air mobility operations and performance metrics
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, transportation, or business management
- NAF-level experience is required, and AFFOR, MAJCOM Staff experience is desired
- 3 years in an AMD, AMOS as airlift/tanker planner/execution
OR
- 3 years as AMD airlift or tanker instructor at MOS Det 1 (AMD IQT)
- 2 years in an AMD-affiliated organization (AMLO, or any AFFOR staff, any DDOC staff, etc.)
- 5 years as an operator in applicable airlift or air refueling systems
- Exercise participation as part of an AOC (Air Operations Center) White Cell, Replication Cell, or Observer/Trainer (OT)
- Participation in one or more AOC/Joint exercises as the training audience
- Experience as an exercise designer/planner/director
