Cloud Solution Architect III - Contingent

Join Aretum as a Cloud Solution Architect III, where you will leverage your expertise to design and implement cutting-edge cloud architectures for our esteemed clients. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in crafting the cloud strategies that enable organizations to innovate and excel.

In this position, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to assess their business needs and translate them into robust, scalable cloud solutions. Your deep understanding of cloud technologies and hands-on experience will enable you to guide teams in delivering high-quality results that drive success.

• Work with end users and application experts to elicit requirements for designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems in cloud based systems
• bLift and shift planning for an existing on-premises application to cloud based systems
• Ingress and egress planning for data migration to and from cloud based systems
• Selecting the appropriate cloud service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
• Integration with on-premises enterprise networks and systems
• Identifying appropriate use of cloud architectural best practices
• Estimating cloud costs and identifying cost control mechanisms

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and solution desig
n
• Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic settin
g
• Strong understanding of cloud-native development practices and tools such as serverless architectures and microservice
s
• Experience with containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernete
s
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tool
s
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audience
s
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical team
s
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferre

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are preferre
