As the Director, Business Development & Capture Air Force / Army at ARETUM, you will lead the development and execution of business strategies to drive growth within the Department of Defense (DoD) sector.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the DOD sector, in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the DOD (Airforce/Army) market, building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Lead the capture management process from opportunity identification to proposal submission, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful bids.
Manage the entire business development lifecycle, from market research and analysis to opportunity qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
Work closely with senior leadership to define growth targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and identify potential upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and government policies impacting the DOD market, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective DOD (Airforce/Army) clients and opportunities, continuously expanding the company's presence in the market.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling messaging and materials to support business development activities.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving growth in the DOD sector.
Prior experience working with the Department of Defense or other government agencies is essential.
Strong understanding of the DOD (Airforce/Army) acquisition process, contracts, and government buying cycles.
Proven ability to successfully lead capture management efforts and win new business.
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strategic mindset and ability to think critically and creatively to identify new business opportunities.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
