About the Job:
We are seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science and at least 2 years of work experience in metal casting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain melting, pouring, and heat treatment procedures.
- Investigate casting issues and innovate solutions to metallurgical problems.
- Translate material requirements into manufacturing and test plans based on purchase order specifications.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science.
- At least 2 years of work experience in metal casting.
- Beneficial experience includes: induction furnace melting, arc melting, AOD refining, alloying, or heat treatment of non-ferrous alloys, carbon and low-alloy steels, or high-alloy steels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
