Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Quality Control (QC) Specialist plays a vital role in upholding the highest standard of excellence across all aspects of our products. By closely collaborating with various department, this role is responsible for ensuring our products consistently meet stringent quality criteria. The QC Specialist’s responsibilities include identifying and resolving potential issues and maintaining a commitment to exceptional quality control.
Essential Functions
High school diploma, or equivalent evidence of educational proficiency at the high school level.
Post-secondary education in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience
Experience in Quality Control; preferably in manufacturing or production setting is preferred.

Essential Functions

- Ensure all products and services meet established quality standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to identify any defects.
- Identify and address quality issues, recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality control activities.
- Prepare reports summarizing quality assurance activities.
- Monitor suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Notify and communicate with customers over phone, text, and email.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working in moderately noisy environments, normal for warehouse environments, or industrial settings.
- Ability to operate computer systems and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to transition between periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- Occasionally climb stairs.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects (up to 70 pounds).
- Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and techniques.
- Ability to effectively operate gauge and measuring test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and communication.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally through phone, text, and email for effective customer service.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
