Department Profile :
The role of Trust Operations Specialist is a dynamic team-based role within Argent’s Operations Department. The Operations Department’s responsibilities cover activities that support the overall services provided to Argent’s clients. Some of the services supported by Operations include (but not limited to), account transfers, asset movement, client deposit and disbursement processing, fund accounting, mail processing, and reconciliation of client and DDA accounts. The Operations Department interacts daily with internal personnel and external institutions.
Job Summary :
The Security Master team plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of security data on the Argent Platform. They are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and pricing financial instruments such as equities, bonds, derivatives, and mutual funds—essential to smooth and accurate operations across Argent Platform.
As a Security Master Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining both new and existing securities. You’ll also support workflows related to security transactions initiated by Wealth Officers, helping to ensure efficiency and data accuracy.
Job Specifics : Security Master
Individual will review and establish new securities and perform maintenance on existing securities on the Addvantage platform.
- Perform daily price updates for private placement assets while reviewing Issuer statements.
- Monitoring and resolving stale and aged asset prices.
- Process cost basis adjustments for private placement assets.
- Review and process transaction amendments.
- Work with the Tax Department to affect Return of Capital payments for private placement assets.
- Assist with routine audits, internal and external, to provide documentation on activities covered by the respective audit.
- Individuals will participate in departmental cross-training to gain a broad understanding of the operations department.
