With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Construction Estimator to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Construction Estimator with at least 3-4 years of experience in construction estimating. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on project specifications, drawings, and site visits.
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and feasible.
• Prepare and present bid proposals, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
• Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor bids and proposals.
• Track and update project costs during the construction phase to ensure that the project stays within budget.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data to support future estimates.
• Collaborate with the project team to address any cost-related concerns during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Associated degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred (not require).
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably in [commercial and/or residential].
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes is a plus.
• ACI, ASPE, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
