What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Associate position at Argentum Medical?
Performs Day to Day purchasing for manufacturing and the facility. Must have knowledge of Quality regulations regarding purchasing for a medical company. Plans production using inventory levels and sales order demand as a guide.
Essential Functions (ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES):- 1. Purchasing Manufacturing Raw Materials
- 2. Purchasing basic facility supplies
- 3. Interfacing with operations to Plan future production to meet the needs of customers and the organization
- 4. Data entry and report generation: Gathers and reports on various data pertaining to purchasing and or planning.
- 5. Work order generation and documentation.
- 6. Other tasks as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience purchasing
- Previous experience planning production
Education
- Bachelor degree or commensurate on the job experience.
