What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inbound Logistics Ops position at ARGLASS V-F1 LLC?
The Inbound Logistics Operator is responsible for the coordination, receiving and record-keeping of internal of inbound
materials needed in the glass manufacturing process.
- Must be able to greet, direct, and properly record shipments while displaying Arglass-level customer service
- Ensuring the deliveries have been unloaded properly in the correct locations with the correct material
- Ability to operate a forklift to loading/unloading tasks
- Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership in establishing efficient processes
- Verify pre-operation checklists are completed for forklifts and other equipment
- Ensure deliveries match our internal inventory management system.
- Be able to analyze and correct mistakes made in the inventory system
- Able to understand receiving schedule and practice efficient management of incoming deliveries
- Ensure correct product is loaded onto the appropriate spaces.
- Notify supervisor of any incidences of recurring equipment malfunctions, discrepancies in shipments, receipts, delays
and corrective action taken and of any poor-quality material or supplies noted.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment consistent with Arglass policies and procedures while striving
for zero accidents.
- Maintain an effective working relationship within functional area and with other departments ensuring effective and
timely communication.
