We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to join the team in Valdosta, GA
Status of hire: Full time/direct hire

Day Shift
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing their entire shift’s operations for the warehouse.
- Ensuring that employees are working efficiently with their time while upholding Arglass safety standards.
- Monitor and ensure accurate inventory records while uses proper put-away procedures.
- Facilitate proper loading and unloading procedures of material in and out of the warehouse
- Directing the flow of inventory through the warehouse by ensuring that it is accurately stored and recorded
- Make certain that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that safety procedures are followed
- Arrange the transport of dunnage materials to AGV pickup lanes
- Be able to analyze and correct mistakes made in the inventory system
- Enforce any applicable company policies and guidelines
- Record incoming and outgoing production and supplies.
- Load correct finished product into trailers.
- Receive incoming material to proper storage or use location, using lift truck or hand cart.
- Notify supervisor of any incidences of recurring equipment malfunctions, discrepancies in shipments, receipts, delays and corrective action taken and of any poor-quality material or supplies noted.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment consistent with Arglass policies and procedures while striving for zero accidents.
- Maintain an effective working relationship within functional area and with other departments ensuring effective and timely communication.
- Partner with other department to resolve issue and create new solutions
- Maintain administrative records and activities
- Train and develop other personnel
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Capability to analyze inventory data and concisely present the results.
- Experience of leading a team in warehouse operations
- Strong sense of inventory management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and demanding position.
- Ability to analyze complex data, concisely present actionable intelligence and act on that intelligence
- Must be organized and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Committed to continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse steps without assistance.
- Must be able to verbally communicate in potentially loud environments
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted.
- Vision: Must be able to make visual recognition of the working environment.
- Environment: Exposures encountered such as: hazardous materials, loud noise, and extreme heat.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear team members, alarms, mechanical sounds, and sounds of personnel distress
- Essential physical requirements such as climbing, bending, reaching, standing, stooping or typing.
- Standing and walking throughout a 12-hour shift.
