We are looking for a highly capable Claims Account Manager to join our team and work from any of our US offices. We work together in the office five days a week in order to strengthen our culture, build team connections, and drive profitability. This position reports into the VP, Programs Claims who works from our San Antonio, TX office. This individual will have the exciting opportunity to oversee third party claim administrators handling liability claims on Argo’s behalf and contribute to providing superb claims results for our clients.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are :
Monitor the quality of work performed by internal employees or TPAs adjusting claims for US programsAct as the single point of contact for all assigned programs for both internal and external customersParticipate in audit and claim review process for all assigned programAdvanced technical expertise related to Public entity specialty liability policies, claims resolution, and skills and knowledge of insurance and claims settlement principles, practices and procedures.Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the company’s internal and external business partners.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.Ability to partner with finance, actuarial, IT and marketing resources.A strong focus on execution in getting things done right. Proven ability to consistently produce and deliver expected results to all stakeholders.Client focus – the ability to effectively determine specific client needs and to provide value added solutions.Core qualifications and requirements for this position include :
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required.At least seven years of Public Entity and industry experience requiredExperience handling specialty programs with experience managing TPAs, MGAs, or other outside vendorsExperience conducting audits with a proven ability to communicate and present findings accordinglyA relentless desire to continually update your skills through continuing education and self-development.Demonstrates inner strength.
