Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors
- Manage rental payments, financial records, and budgets
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations
- Field tenant relations inquiries and resolve tenant issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Assist Property Manager with day-to-day operations, including administrative responsibilities.
- Work closely with building staff and schedule inspections.
- Schedule and coordinate vendor work.
- Assist with invoice processing/payments
- Prepare and track leases and renewal offer letters for market rate tenants.
- Prepare lease transmittal forms and process transmittals for Manhattan portfolio.
- Prepare rent stabilized leases for monthly mailings to buildings.
- Maintain files for rent regulated units and coordinate other compliance requirements.
- Provide coverage for Leasing Associate as needed.
- Handle move-in and move-out reports and tickets for Manhattan Portfolio.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration
- Familiarity with MDS and RapidPay or similar property management software
- Strong customer service skills with a sales-oriented approach
- Ability to handle conflict resolution effectively
