Location : Martinsburg, WV

Salary :   $65,920 - $82,400

We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Production Supervisor at our cement manufacturing plant. In this role, you will supervise the daily activities of production shift employees (union) and ensure that all operations comply with safety and environmental regulations. The supervisor will operate all plant process lines and related auxiliary equipment from a central location, prioritizing the safety of all employees and the protection of company assets. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask effectively while maintaining a strong focus on safety and achieving the goals of the production teams.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership during the shift, ensuring housekeeping and equipment operation adhere to environmental guidelines.
• Perform all job functions safely, complying with Plant, Company, State, Federal, and MSHA regulations
• Manage the performance of all shift employees by providing timely feedback and following the performance management cycle.
• Troubleshoot problems, make operational decisions, take corrective actions, and lead the shift in continuous improvement efforts.
• Consistently produce all cement, clinker, and raw mix within established quality guidelines, ensuring appropriate actions and communication for deviations
• Participate in and complete the Control Room Operator Certification program.
• Be responsible for employee development and training for all employees on the shift.
• Present a positive and professional attitude.
• Be able to travel to other locations for training as needed
