Hotel Front Desk Agent : Argos Inn, Bar & Event Space - Ithaca's boutique hotel
We are currently hiring for one part time position, offering 2 to 4 shifts per week, with availability required on both weekdays and weekends. Shift times vary between AM and PM.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a desire to work in a vibrant, one-of-a-kind setting, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage reservations and guest check-ins/check-outs using our reservation system.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.
- Provide guests with information about the Finger Lakes region and Ithaca’s local attractions.
- Handle phone and email inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Perform cleaning of public spaces to maintain the inn’s pristine appearance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Address guest concerns or escalate issues to management as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, and a positive, detail oriented work style.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Finger Lakes region and Ithaca is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Attitude: Self-motivated, collaborative, and calm under pressure.
