A successful CDL A or B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver is needed to join our team at Argos, a Summit Materials LLC Company. This role involves delivering loads to customers in the Sarasota area, supporting the construction of residential homes, major commercial infrastructures, and other projects.
Salary and Compensation:
We offer competitive pay rates starting at $52 per load with an average of 18 – 25 loads per week. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver loads to customers in the Sarasota area
- Operate Mack Trucks and Internationals equipped with automatic transmission and event-triggered cameras
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Department of Transportation guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A or B license
- At least 21 years old
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR and no DUIs within the last 3 years
- Ability to lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds
- Willingness to work irregular hours depending on customer demands
