Argus Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to join our team at the CLT (Charlotte, North Carolina) Airport. This role serves as the face of Argus Consulting, managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of engineering and consulting projects. The Project Manager will oversee projects under $1 million in annual revenue, providing technical and managerial leadership to achieve client satisfaction, quality deliverables, and financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, transparency, and effective communication. Proactively address issues, ensure client satisfaction, and act as the primary point of contact.
- Business Development: Support business growth by identifying opportunities, promoting Argus services, and contributing to proposals and presentations. Creates fee proposal/project budget along with scope of work/services under the direction of leadership.
- Project Execution: Lead projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, resource coordination, technical oversight, and quality assurance. Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and internal teams to meet project goals.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution while guiding the design team, managing contracts, and addressing unforeseen conditions. Lead meetings, provide updates, and ensure all project documentation is completed accurately.
- Quality Control & Risk Mitigation: Ensure compliance with Argus standards and proactively identify and address potential risks.
- Project Financial Performance: Manage budgets, monitor financial metrics, and ensure profitability by meeting scope, schedule, and cost expectations.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Professional Engineering (PE) registration or PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering or consulting experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical and managerial tasks effectively.
