Job Description
The Parking & Traffic Flow Supervisor's main function is to build a team for their area and to provide direction and support to these Team Members in alignment with the Event Manager's direction in event day operations. Their primary focus is on meeting the needs of the client / venue, patrons, solving problems, identifying needs and concerns from a customer service perspective.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide outstanding customer service.
2. Effectively work traffic plans to aid patrons into parking and ensure the safety of all in their area.
3. Ensure and monitor the quality and safety of operations for the area, and the areas surrounding.
4. Ensure adherence to all administrative policies and procedures.
5. Supervise and train team members, including briefings.
6. Use radios according to established protocols
7. Assists in training new team members.
8. Perform lot counts, and required paperwork for area (break sheets, Accessibility paperwork)
9. Proactively communicate with patrons, other team members, managers, and administrators.
10. Resolve guest related issues, address needs and concerns as they arise.
11. Handle large and diverse crowds.
12. Organize and maintain tools and uniforms.
13. Provide and explain necessary procedures and tools to all team members.
14. Prioritize working shows on weekends, holidays, and busier days.
15. Provide input on staffing

11. Greet / train new team members with a smile and a can-do attitude. Check in with staff at the end of shift to address potential issues.
12. Supervisors should expect and will be expected to work as a team member once per work week for cross training purposes and maintaining consistency across the operation
Physical Demands of the Job
Must be able to move in a quick, energetic manner. Long periods of sitting while on the phone and on the computer are common. Long periods of standing and constant movement around event area is expected on event days. Must be able to safely life and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Psychological Demands
Moderately stressful with constantly changing demands and imposing deadlines. Must be able to give and take direction from different teammates in a professional manner.
Working Conditions
Fast paced environment at venue during event days. Longer hours / days are necessary. Parking is exclusively an outdoor position and is subject to all types of weather conditions.
