Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our clients, ensuring that their equipment operates efficiently and effectively. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and conduct repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulics, fabrication, and industrial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Complete mechanical erection of all equipment in batching and mixing plant.
- Verify equipment on site and staged.
- Communicate with supervisor any delays, issues and requests for change orders.
- Communicate with customers as needed.
- Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night.
- Assist with plant start-up and trouble shooting.
- Perform all duties assigned by the Field Services Supervisor or Manager.
- Adhere to all company policies.
Skills
- Excellent construction skills and ability to resolve challenges.
- Ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
- Must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands.
- Ability to work independently as well as with crew members
- Ability to adapt to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.
- Ability to prioritize and complete work on time and on budget with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to use basic Math skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements, fractions.
- Ability to operate equipment such as telescoping forklift, aerial lift, etc.
- Ability to use basic construction tools including hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, portablewelder, cutting torch, rigging chains and straps, come-alongs, ladders, etc.
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules, policies and regulations.
