Material Handler/Forklift Operator - Nights
This is a nighttime role that involves operating a forklift to supply finishing equipment with product from the presses, remove finished product from the end of the finishing equipment, and prepare it for distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplying finishing equipment with product from the presses
- Removing finished product from the end of the finishing equipment and preparing it for distribution
- Loading and unloading product from trucks
- Understanding and following proper safety procedures regarding the operation of forklifts
- Remove bale waste bins/assist in the bailer rooms
- Assist other material handlers
- Scan product into and out of inventory
- Transport materials from one building to another using a Class B CDL vehicle
Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience (preferably in a manufacturing setting)
- Ability to perform basic math, basic computer entries, and good written and verbal communication skills
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
