Quality Control ark RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES : n a quality control position, you will be responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards before moving on in the production process. You will have a wide range of duties, from report writing to conducting inspections. You would be expected to measure the quality of products or services against industry-specific standards, use statistical analyses to determine how regularly these standards are met, and ensure products or services comply with relevant federal or provincial legislation. Examining parts to ensure they meet quality standards by performing durability, functionality, and safety tests Maintaining accurate records of inspections and test Identifying issues and making recommendations for improvements Requesting rework or rejecting parts as needed Assisting in writing and updating inspection procedures Labeling and staging parts leaving the department Having knowledge of the production setting, cutting, and forming procedures Develop and conduct audits of the quality system Ensuring to safety protocols Educating the production team on quality control processes, concerns, and standards of product quality Looking through plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design requirements of products Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment SKILLS Read blueprints and specifications Write reports for various tasks and processes Operating electronic inspection equipment and software Analyzation of quality-related customer concerns I
