Endres Manufacturing Company is currently looking for a structural steel Designer. We are an AISC certified fabricator of structural steel located in Arlington and Waunakee, WI.

Job Duties :

  • Prepare and Deliver customer approval drawings, fabrication drawings and installation drawings on time and with accuracy.
  • Prepare conceptual design and draft submittal drawings for customer, field measurement drawings, final installation and fabrication drawings.
  • Revise per redlines from customer.
  • Responsible for meeting project schedules and budgets
  • Develop new product designs in communication with supervisor.
  • Deliver drawings on schedule based on project schedule requirements.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment managing multiple jobs.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Associate degree in Structural / Mechanical / Civil / Architectural Drafting, Construction, Engineering or related field preferred
  • 1 year of detailing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SDS / 2 and CAD software a plus
  • Read and interpret work instructions, prints, drawings and job layouts.
  • Steel background preferred.
  • Team interaction and excellent communication skills

    • Working Conditions / Physical Demands :

  • Ability to detail products as a team member, sharing assignments to complete single units.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
