Job Description
Responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, interpreting images, and making adjustments as necessary. Also, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by following proper sterilization techniques and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures
- Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
- Maintain aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements
To be successful as a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you must possess:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification or State Registered Radiologic Technician licensure
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
