The Logistics Manager is responsible for the systemic movement of inventory between our DCs, internal departments, and stores. They communicate with internal partners in merchandising, visual, and buying to coordinate product arrival to the stores for floor set and biweekly transfers. Work with new store opening team to determine schedule and confirmation of product shipping to the store. Work with mock store, photo, sample room to manifest transfers for internal shipping. Focus on ensuring the team strives to provide the highest levels of cross-functional partner satisfaction and production efficiencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee team processing store transfers
• Process all store stock and customer pick up orders to store biweekly
• Send confirmation of product the store should expect to visual team and stores
• Work with visuals to make any changes prior to finalizing manifest
• Build manifest and communicate with distribution center outbound teams
• Confirm all transfers have been sent as expected
• Oversee team processing transfers for new store openings
• Confirm delivery schedule for new stores
• Check all transfers written for the correct dates
• Follow new store logistics SOP for communicating and double-checking transfers
• Send pick lists to warehouse
• Validate no open transfers left behind
• Confirm final pieces with visuals prior to the store opening day
• Oversee team processing internal transfers and DC to DC transfers
• Manifest transfers for inventory movement between distribution centers
• Work with cross-functional partners in photo, mock store, and sample room to support quick turnaround of transfer product
• Research failed orders in Manhattan
• Relentlessly ensure all requested pieces ship systemically correctly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the performance of the Logistics Team in an efficient, cost effective, and safe manner while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
• Track cases in the Salesforce application, handle escalations.
• Create and maintain reporting on team performance as related to KPIs.
• Collaborate with the Transportation and Logistics Planning teams to create the most cost-efficient loads for store deliveries and DC transfers, validate schedules, and monitor capacity to reduce impact to customer orders and demiurge.
• Ensure the department operates according to budgeted guidelines, maintain delivery associates’ work hours, schedule, vacation, attendance and overtime.
• Work in concert with the senior management team in implementation of processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement in efficiencies.
• Work cross functionally with a required high degree of communication with the Store Operations, Stores, Client Services, Hub Managers, DC partners, Visual, Buying, and IT.
• Read, understand and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports; use these reports to evaluate department’s performance; compute figures to accurately plan/adjust headcount to meet department’s objectives.
• Work with the Sr Director to develop, refine, implement and administer company policies, procedures and systems to provide effective service to all Arhaus customers the most cost-effective way.
• Work cross functionally with other teams on all system implementation projects within the department.
• Relentless attention to detail to ensure each piece ships as planned.
• Constant follow up on transfers en route and upcoming planned shipments.

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
• 7-10 Years of experience: Logistics management
• Analytical skills required
• Valid Driver’s license preferred
• Computer proficiency: Excel expert, WMS experience required, Use of Storis or Qlik preferred
• Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order processing, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
