The Omni Assistant Buyer ultimately supports their category in achieving all aspects of assigned financial targets with a specific focus on the omni channel business.
Core Job Function
- Responsible for supporting Buyers with tasks such as SKU creation and maintenance
- Supporting the buying team with store allocation and transfers
- Maintaining individual category inboxes
- Ensure the product is merchandised in relation to trend (sales, inventory, newness, clearance, etc)
- Create, maintain, and report all omni-product sales data for evaluation purposes as required by the Buyer/DMM
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development
- Manage product options for each item (Fabrics, Finish, Size, etc.)
- Clear knowledge of target customer and competitive market
- Other duties may be determined by management to perform the necessary functions of the position, on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of Buying/Merchant experience
- College Degree (2 or 4 Years) in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or Design
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn and retain new computer systems in a timely manner
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to think strategically with strong decision-making skills
- Passion for product
