DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer Service Expeditor will: ensure weekly parts orders are completed in a timely manner, and correctly; follow up with department supervisors regarding part orders that are needed. Provide reports on any delays for part orders with the customer service team. Provide reports/lists of missing items with the purchasing team so that expected delivery dates can be provided. Prepare, package and ship all part orders; ship UPS packages daily; track packages; update system with correct shipping information; maintain and organize the work area.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors. Office environment as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Computer experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience shipping items in a manufacturing environment preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Must have strong ability to work as a team. Must be reliable. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must have your own reliable transportation. Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime. Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English. Must be able to operate a computer and email. Must have good vision. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs. Must be detail oriented. |
PHYSICAL & ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to walk/stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant that is heated and cooled.
Must have good vision.
Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe / close-heel shoes when required.
Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
