What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Equipment Ope position at ARI Apartment Management?
POSITION OVERVIEW
Carrollwood Farms is looking for operators to help with a number of large-scale grading and sitework projects, including the construction of a large pond and the construction of a building pad for a large administrative support building. Individual projects to include moving more than 50,000 cubic feet of material.
Tasks include excavating and hauling dirt, grading and finishing sites, laying pipe, operating transits, developing and maintaining erosion control structures, some ground work, and much more. Regular (at least daily) maintenance of equipment.
Operators work within the Sitework and Grading division and report to the Superintendent of Sitework and Grading and the Assistant Superintendent of Sitework and Grading.
REQUIREMENTS
The ability to operate large and small construction equipment, from skidsteers and minihoes to off-road trucks and compactors to large excavators and dozers.
Must possess valid driver’s license. Class A preferred.
Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and twist. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally. Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Occasionally work during the rain.
