What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technician I and II position at ARI - Arnold Refrigeration?
The Construction Technician is responsible to assist with the installation and repair of insulated panels, windows and doors, commonly installed and not limited to cold storage facilities, convenience stores, supermarkets, produce warehouses

Responsibilities:
- Assist in various tasks such as load and unload trucks, stage material in specific order, and prepare work areas
- Prep insulated panels for installation
- Assist with installation of panel, metal trim and flashing
- Assist with caulking seams and joints
- Assist with measuring and marking construction sites and ensuring accurate placement of components
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the guidance of experienced construction technician or team lead
- Gain basic knowledge of material and fitting size
- Receptive to learning to gain knowledge to anticipate the next steps in the building process
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Perform other task and duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- Basic understanding of power tools, tape measure, and materials
- Work from a variation of heights (scissor lift and ladders)
- Lift objects up to 70 pounds
- Bend and squat throughout the day
- Lift items and work overhead throughout the day
- Work in natural elements. Extreme heat and cold
Qualifications
- Punctual, self-motivated and dependable
- Able to read, write and speak English
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work overtime and work out of town. (central and south Texas)
- Must have own transportation to and from local job sites. (out of town transportation provided)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of team
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 β 45 per week
