The primary function of this position is to update our database within the markets assigned. Collecting data, maintaining records, and entering and updating information within company databases. Data Entry Specialist has a keen eye for accuracy, top-level typing skills, and an ability to thrive under deadlines. To note this role is 8am-5pm CST.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains confidential records.
- Enter new patient demographics and maintain existing patient demographic profiles.
- Send out and receive mail and packages, update returned mail
- Scan and print files when requested
- Process applications for insurance benefits
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 1-3 years of medical office experience or office support experience required
- 1-2 years of job tenor at each of your previous roles required
- Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred
