Location:
We are seeking a Full - Time Optometry Assistant to join our team in the Baton Rouge, LA area with a travel radius of up to about 2 hours. Paid drive time and mileage stipend! Most facilities are within an hour of the metro area, working full-time up to 4 days per week and off Friday's. For this role we are offering pay from $16.00 - $20.00 Per Hour with fifty cents per mile, hotel reimbursements, meal allowances and benefits as well!
Duties:
- Arrive before the doctor to get the clinic set up at the facility.
- Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility.
- Assist the doctor with vision pretesting, working with glasses and scribing as needed.
Requirements:
- Current Valid Driver’s License with no moving violations in the last 5 years.
- 1 year relevant work history, preferably in long term/senior care.
Salary : $16 - $20
