Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga practices and the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels. As a Yoga Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting wellness, mindfulness, and physical fitness through various yoga techniques and classes.
Duties
- Lead engaging and safe yoga classes for individuals of varying skill levels, ensuring proper alignment and technique.
- Develop and implement class plans that incorporate various styles of yoga, including Bikram yoga, Hot yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, or Yin Yoga.
- Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by encouraging student participation and interaction.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure the safety and effectiveness of all classes.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to design integrated wellness programs that may include elements of Pilates, kickboxing, or group fitness.
- Promote studio offerings, including workshops or special events, to enhance student engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve teaching skills through professional development.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor or in a related fitness role is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential; additional certifications in Pilates or other fitness modalities are a plus.
- Familiarity with group fitness dynamics and program design is beneficial.
- Experience in gym environments or sports coaching can enhance class delivery and student engagement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
