What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Event Planner position at Aria Wedding/Banquet?
We are seeking an Sales/Marketing/Social Media Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing, and create new social media platforms for Aria through posts, blogging, and various promotional content.
- Field all sales calls and email inquiries
- Tour property with clients
- Book and contract events
- Work with various client budgets while maximizing profits.
- Conduct all planning appointments ie: menu revision, floor plan design, construction of itinerary, and scheduling future appointments
- Design promotional brochures and literature for events hosted by Aria
- Design promotional brochures and literature to obtain new clientele for weddings, special occasions, corporate meetings and galas
Qualifications:
- Strong Sales/Marketing skills
- Previous experience in event planning or other related fields
- Strong project managing skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well individually and in teams
- Able to work in a fast paced and ever evolving industry
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Three years of experience preferred but not required in event planning and sales.
- Three years of experience preferred but not required in customer service
- Proficient in various social media platforms ie: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Proficient in Microsoft office: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
