PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS
CurRent NYC: The business objectives of the CurRent NYC initiative involve an application that would provide all landlords doing business with HRA with improved customer service, including self-service, facilitate electronic payment of rent, and make payments to landlords accurately across all programs and tenants (the “golden” record concept). The system in production facilitates CityFHEPS application submission, processing, and eligibility determinations, tracks CityFHEPS landlord and property records, and allows landlords to create an online account and perform functions that include submitting updated information, seeing limited payment history, and enrolling in electronic payments. There is a significant enhancement necessary to bring about the envisioned process improvements and to comprehensively address the original project objectives.
Tasks & Duties
- Design, development, test, deployment and troubleshooting of integrations.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect targeted systems for better communication between the systems.
- Ensure accurate and efficient data flow between systems, maintaining data integrity and consistency between all systems by creation of golden records, allowing many-to-many links between individual landlord accounts and accounts, etc.
- Create and manage APIs for internal and external use, enabling seamless integration and data exchange to allow viewing of other landlord records connected to a shared landlord portal, allow users to have historical view of added accounts, etc.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in SDLC including middleware technologies.
- Minimum 4 Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce.
- Minimum 4 Years Understanding of current and emerging middleware technologies and the best practices.
- Minimum 4 Years Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Minimum 4 Years Ability to build partnerships with other stakeholders inside of the IT organization.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience working in a team environment on large applications; (b) team leadership; (c) can demonstrate their knowledge of object-oriented programming methodology.
- Minimum 4 Years Excellent experience with Java/JEE development
- Minimum 4 Years Strong knowledge of RESTful services, SOAP services, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath.
- Minimum 4 Years Strong knowledge of MQ Queues, channels, and MQ attributes.
- Minimum 4 Years Working experience with certificates (SSL), Public/private keys.
- Minimum 4 Years Strong experience with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, IBM integration Bus (IIB), APP connect Enterprise (ACE), Toolkit, IBM MQ Explorer, and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Minimum 4 Years Strong experience working with JAVA, IBM’s JAVA based Extended Structured Query Language (ESQL), and development tools such as IBM Integration Toolkit, IBM MQ Explorer, and Oracle SQL Developer Oracle Business Process.
