Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and resolving complex system issues that may require in-depth analysis and creative solutions.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of new system architectures, including server configurations, network topology, and data storage solutions.
- Monitoring system performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks to optimize system efficiency and up time.
- Implementing robust security measures, managing user access controls, and staying updated on emerging cyber threats
- Forecasting future system needs and planning for hardware upgrades or infrastructure scaling to accommodate growth.
- Providing technical guidance and training to other system administrators on best practices and new technologies.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with enterprise network administration tools.
- Possess extensive understanding of specific operating systems, hardware, network protocols, security measures, and cloud technologies relevant to their organization.
- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems, including system configuration, shell scripting, and package management
- Advanced expertise in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and related technologies.
- Deep understanding of AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including cloud security and resource management
- Expertise in network infrastructure, routing protocols, firewalls, and network security
- Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe.
