General Responsibilities:
The Logistics Administrator must have a basic working knowledge of Warehouse operations, have excellent customer service skills, and be a team member willing to share her/his thoughts and recommend suitable upgrades to work processes. The employee will also assist in reporting, prepare documents in writing, and electronically to ensure Client requirements are met.
Shift will be from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Specific Job Duties:
- Assist with system reports as required by clients and management.
- WMS utilization to review Warehouse orders, receives, and POD’s.
- Assist with billing.
- Maintain and enforce all Aries Worldwide Logistics and Client policies and procedures.
- To clearly and professionally communicate with any party that may require interaction.
- To work successfully in a team environment to plan, organize and implement office and enhancements pertaining to client needs.
- Successfully perform various tasks as may be assigned by Aries’ management.
- To regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing daily tasks and responsibilities with matters of importance.
- Review and maintain all WMS dashboards and internal metric reports up to date.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Industry Experience Preferred and Basic Experience in Bonded and FTZ operations.
- Detailed oriented
- Balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish.
- Microsoft office proficient
- Freight Forwarding Experience preferred.
- Team-focused with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work without constant supervision.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- WMS experience.
