WAREHOUSE AGENT I

General Responsibilities:

A Warehouse Agent I directly handles both the physical and systemic receiving, scanning, picking, and/or other manipulation of freight as directed by their supervisors for and all aspects related to our Contract Logistics Warehouse(s) or perform other general labor as directed.

Specific Job Duties:

• Unload and receive freight
• Coordinate the receiving of inbound materials to include reconciliation, inventory location allocation and finalization of materials into inventory.
• Scan freight into inventory
• Inspect freight for any damages/missing pieces before signing
• Inventory per customer request
• Pick orders for designated clients
• Load order to designated trucks
• Acknowledge customers list of freight for the daily receives
• Keep the warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete other tasks as assigned by Lead or Manager
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to warehouse personnel.
• Responsible for pulling and staging outbound orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Maintain awareness of emails/correspondence to ensure time actioning of all requests to both internal and external customers.
• Responsible for assisting to ensure a clean, safe working environment is always maintained to prevent workplace accidents.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by IAH Warehouse Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum three years experience
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Strong communication skills
• Balance individual responsibilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
