We provide engineering, design, procurement, project management and construction management services from Concept, through FEED and Detail Engineering & Design, to Completion for onshore and offshore oil & gas and energy industry facilities. Our services include execution of greenfield and brownfield projects for oil and gas production, processing, transportation, storage, and refining facilities worldwide.
Description of Responsibilities:
Researches, develops, designs, and tests a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for oil & gas and energy purposes.

Acts as mechanical equipment engineer in mechanical equipment team on assigned projects

Effectively communicates and Interfaces with other disciplines, clients, contractor and suppliers (s) for the assigned mechanical equipment

Supports other disciplines for mechanical equipment selection, plot space, dimension etc. suit for the application

Prepares technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, requisitions and sub - contract requisitions for mechanical equipment for inquiry and order

Conducts technical evaluation, evaluate equipment suitability and issue clarification of supplier bids - complete technical report to support order placement

Leads technical discussion, meetings with suppliers and clients

Reviews supplier documentation and applicable engineering deliverables for integration within project design engineering (GA / Details / Calculations / Fabrication procedures, etc.)

Provides project technical support - be familiar with risk assessments, design reviews, constructability, HAZOP, etc.

Attends pre - inspection meetings, perform inspection and witness factory acceptance and / or site acceptance testing of mechanical equipment where required

Provides construction support and site support, as necessary for equipment installation, start - up and commissioning

Performs such duties as may reasonably be assigned

Directs activities to ensure that engineering, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements

Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer
Qualifications
Qualifications / Skills:
-
Working knowledge of recognized industry codes and standards e.g. ANSI, ASME, ISO, API, BS, etc.

Experiences in equipment selections, specifications, requisitions, technical bids evaluation and supplier document reviews, etc. in Engineering firms, Equipment Manufactures including an operation and maintenance of Process Plant Equipment

Hard worker, well organized, proactive, high leadership, team-work attitude and problem solving in a timely manner

Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can - do attitude and a desire to win

Possess good interpersonal skills with excellent English communication skills

Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred

Education / Experience Level:

BSc, MSc or equivalent in mechanical engineering

10 years of experience working on onshore oil & gas or energy projects
-
NCEES PE License preferred
