As a Behavior Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services to children and their families. You'll work closely with parents, caregivers, and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to create positive, lasting change across various settings, including the home, school, clinic, and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing ABA services and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to ensure treatment integrity and effectiveness.
- Observe and track client progress through data collection and treatment goals.
- Provide support in areas such as self-help skills, socialization, adaptive skills, and behavioral management.
- Maintain a consistent and reliable schedule while attending required meetings and trainings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ABA principles and ethical guidelines
- 3 months experience in providing ABA services or related services.
- 40-hour RBT coursework certificate
- State of AZ Article 9 Training
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Obtain RBT Certificate within 30 days of hire and prior to service delivery.
- State of AZ Prevention and Support Training - obtained within the 30 days of hire or prior to service delivery
- ABA Ethical Guidelines.
- Clinical Handbook and Policy Orientation
- AzAHP -Initial and Annual Core Training Plan
