What are the responsibilities and job description for the Habilitation Support Services Supervisor position at Arion Care?
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Habilitation Support Supervisor to join our dedicated team and provide consultative services to individuals and their families receiving habilitation support. The Habilitation Support Supervisor will work closely with a team of HAH Specialists, caregivers, habilitation providers, Support Coordinators, and Area Managers/Supervisors to ensure the successful implementation of habilitation programs and services. This role requires a hands-on approach to guiding team members and assisting families in promoting the independence and well-being of individuals with disabilities in home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the HAH Support team, managing daily operations, training, and consultation services.
- Assist in coaching habilitation providers and parents/caregivers on implementing program goals and target skills through appropriate teaching strategies.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews for HAH Specialists, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Assist in the preparation of Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings, including the review of goals and documentation preparation.
- Support members in acquiring, retaining, and improving essential life skills such as self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills for successful living in home and community settings.
- Update program goals in Spoke Choice and ensure accurate data review.
- Model programs to members in areas such as independent living, self-help, socialization, adaptive skills, and behavioral management.
- Maintain schedules for Specialists and HAH classes to ensure optimal service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Social Work, or Counseling.
- At least 2 years of full-time experience in habilitation services, behavioral therapy, or behavior analysis is preferred.
- 40 hours of ABA training.
- State of AZ Prevention and Support Training certification.
- State of AZ Article 9 Training certification.
- Intro to DDD Training.
- Two years of experience providing direct support services in habilitation or an equivalent field.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of a satisfactory background check.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DPS fingerprint clearance card.
