What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Field Service Technician position at Arion Water, Inc.?
South Shore high purity water company, 39 years in the business, seeking entry level candidate to train and work in a fast-paced and growing service department. A major portion of work in Boston area. Work will be primarily with pretreatment, reverse osmosis and post treatment systems in the pharmaceutical, research, dialysis and semi-conductor industries. Trade experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Assist and/or perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems
· Learn analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving on equipment and instrumentation
· Document all service activities within electronic field service management system (FSM)
o Data to be accurate, complete and submitted timely for processing
· Communicate effectively with clients during field service visits
· Provide clear and accurate information to internal departments for follow-up services and quotes as needed
· Assist and/or perform routine water quality testing, adhering to strict sampling protocols
· Perform field service in compliance with OSHA requirements
Requirements:
· Minimum of high school diploma – vocational trade school training preferred
· Plumbing knowledge and experience preferred
· Basic mechanical and electrical skills preferred
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
· Ability to operate electric hand tools
· Basic computer skills required
· Clean driving record is a must
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Attention to detail and detailed service reports a must
· Ability to work independently after training period
Other:
· Hourly rate determined by education and experience
· Schedule is 40 hours – Monday through Friday
