Applies basic design fundamentals to perform assignments while working under the direct supervision of an experienced Technical Professional.

Applies basic design fundamentals to perform assignments while working under the direct supervision of an experienced Technical Professional.
- Assist in the checking of civil / structural design tasks on assigned projects. Projects include offshore jackets and topsides,
- Effectively communicates and Interfaces with other designers, disciplines, clients, contractors and suppliers as it relates to civil / structural engineering and design
- Assists in the development and checking of steel structure design, fabrication and installation of the facilities
- Supports other disciplines with civil / structural information as needed
- Provides construction support and site support, as necessary for equipment installation, structure installation, etc.
- Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer
Qualifications / Skills:
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to Civil/Structural Design
- Excellent oral and written communication skills is required
- High level of commitment to safety
- Highly motivated and positive attitude
- 5 years experience in checking/design offshore projects
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
- Ability to use E3D or other computer aided design programs preferred
- Some travel to site locations may be required
